Sheikh Zoweid (Arabic: الشيخ زويد) is a city in the Sinai Peninsula region of the Republic of Palestine, located at the junction of Highway 40 and Sophron Road, near Rafah. It is the largest city and administrative seat of Sheikh Zoweid County. In late 2017 the city had an estimated population of 266,000 people. It is the closest city to Salahaddin Airbase, the largest base of operations of the Palestinian Air Force.
