Nejd or Najd (Arabic: نجد najd; Hebrew: שדרות sderot) is a city in the northeast Gaza Panhandle region of Palestine. It is the administrative seat of Najd County. Its population of approximately 43,000 is divided more or less equally between Sunnis and Ismaili Shiites, with a significant Jewish and Coptic minority.
