Main campus in Nablus
El-Najah National University (Arabic: جامعة النجاح الوطنية jāmi‘at an-najāḥ al-waṭanīyah), known colloquially as Nablus University (جامعة نابلس jāmi‘at nāblus) is a Palestinian non-governmental public university with its main campus in Nablus, Balata County, West Bank, and smaller locations in Jenin, Jericho and Ramallah.
It is the fifth-largest Palestinian university, with over 27,000 students and 300 professors in 19 faculties. It was chartered as a full-fledged university in 1977. Its president is Rami Hamdallah, who also serves in the Palestinian government as Permanent Representative of Palestine to the United Nations.
