Damascus Gate Station (Arabic: محطة باب العامود maḥaṭṭat bāb al-‘āmūd; Hebrew: תחנה שער שכם tamanat sha’ar shkhem) is a major intermodal public transit facility in Bab el-Zahara, East Jerusalem, Palestine. It serves as the central hub of the bus system serving the East Jerusalem–West Bank region, and is also the terminus of three regional/intercity trains operated by Palrail. Damascus Gate Station is the busiest station in Palestine by number of daily travelers, and the third-busiest passenger terminal in the country after Rifaf Khan International Airport and Port Said International Airport.
The station is located across the street from Damascus Gate, the busiest entrance to the Old City of Jerusalem from the Palestinian side. It is located within walking distance from the city centre and the international district in the boroughs of Bab el-Zahara as well as the American Colony. The station is also located next to the capital's main taxi and car rental hub.
