Bir Hassaneh (Arabic: بئر الحسنة; lit. "blessed well") is a Sunni city located in an oasis formed by the bend of the Pleides River, 15 kilometres southeast of Caeffa, Palestine. It is the county seat of Hassaneh County. The city centre is built around a park which has some of the most abundant freshwater springs in the whole Sinai Peninsula. Bir Hassaneh is home to approximately 44,000 people.
